At the ongoing WWDC 2018, Apple announced its newest operating system for the iPhone and iPad. Currently in beta, iOS 12 promises performance upgrades that were anticipated by the developer community. In fact, on stage, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Apple said the new operating system would offer double the performance as compared to the previous version of the operating system.
Here’s a guide on how you could try out iOS 12 beta on your iPhone and iPad. But before you do, you must understand the risks of doing so. As is the case with most beta software, you must familiarize yourself with the risk of an unstable, or not perfect yet system. In addition, battery performance could take a hit since the OS hasn’t been fully optimized yet.

In case you don’t have a developer account, you can simply head over to https://beta.thuthuatios.com/en/. To intall iOS 12 Beta, select iOS 12 Beta. Once you do so, the Beta profile will get downloaded to your device. Install the beta profile. Once the beta profile is installed on your device, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update.
iOS would now prompt you for an available software update. You can now follow the standard steps to install the OS. After an initial restart, you would need to enter your device passcode, and you should be up and running.
