HTC is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on May 23 (tomorrow). But a huge leak has revealed nearly everything there is to know about the upcoming U12+ smartphone. The culprit behind this blunder is none other than HTC.
The Taiwanese company accidentally left one of its webpages public, which contained everything there is to know about the HTC U12+. The page was spotted by leakster Roland Quandt, and the smartphone’s details were copied by The Verge before the company took the page down.
The page contained renders of the upcoming smartphone, and it looks exactly like the leaked renders we have come across before. The front is dominated by a large display with slim bezels, while at the back you can see the dual-camera module, and fingerprint sensor.

HTC U12+ specifications, features
The specifications and features mentioned on the page is also in line with previous leaks. The HTC U12+ will flaunt a 6-inch WQHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) Super LCD6 display, and will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. There will be 6GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded (up to 2TB) using a microSD card. Other features include 3,500mAh battery, IP68-rated water and dust resistance, and Boomsound speakers.
The listing page also mentioned a Chinese price tag of RMB 5,888. This roughly translates to Rs 62,800. Clearly, HTC’s smartphone won’t be light on one’s pockets. It will be interesting to see how it competes against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Google Pixel 2 XL, and Apple iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X to name a few.
