Huawei has been in the limelight recently after it introduced its flagship smartphone – the Huawei Ascend D2 at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month. Adding to the buzz is the Huawei Ascend P2, which has been riding high on the rumor chariot of late. It has recently been in news for its leaked specs that are pretty similar to that of the Ascend D2. The device is expected to hold similar features when compared to the Ascend D2, and now an image of the device has been leaked which confirms a 13-megapixel camera. The leak comes via the very reliable @evleaks, so this could perhaps be the real deal.
It will be the successor to the Ascend P1 and is rumored to boast a 4.5-inch IPS full-HD display, 2GB of RAM and a quad-core processor to pump up the performance of the device. Apart from this, it will have a powerful battery of 3000 mAh. The device will reportedly run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the quad-core processor will be Huawei’s home-grown solution. While the rumors thicken with every passing day, it is expected that Huawei might showcase the phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in a few weeks.
