Adding to the wearables’ category, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched the Honor Band A2 fitness band in India. The fitness band was first launched in May last year and makes its debut in India today. Priced at Rs 2,499, the band will start selling exclusively via Amazon India from January 8, 2018. The talking point of the Honor Band A2 is its large display and improved health tracking features.
The Honor Band A2, available in black finish, is equipped with a 0.96-inch multi-touch screen OLED display, which is said to be the largest in its class. It comes with features including life-to-wake and lower-to-sleep, and heart rate monitor.
The band is equipped with a heart rate chip that uses an intelligent algorithm for accurate calculation of heart rate data in real-time. If you are cycling, walking, running, or exercising, the band can record the heart rate, time, and distance data of each activity and then also display the all-day exercise data, step count, and calories on the connected phone.
In addition to heart rate monitoring and exercise data, the Honor Band A2 can also detect and track your sleep status. It can also diagnose sleep problems based on your sleeping patterns and suggest solutions. It uses sleep algorithm and heart rate modules to differentiate between deep sleep, light sleep, and awake status.
Other features include call and message reminder, sweat and water resistance, and battery life of up to 9 days and standby time of 18 days.
