Huawei Mate 10 was launched late last year. Following that, the company stated that it will keep on rolling out updates for the smartphone that will offer some high-end features. It is a promise the company has stuck to. Earlier in the year, the Mate 10 got an update that brought in the long exposure camera feature from Huawei P20. Now, the smartphone is getting the new EMUI 8.1 update, which is bringing in slow motion video recording at 960 FPS.
According to Gizmochina’s report, the update will allow the Mate 10 to shoot super slow-motion HD videos at 960 FPS. This feature is currently available on flagship smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, Sony Xperia Z1 and even Huawei P20 Pro. It allows you to showcase maximum detail in the fastest of scenes possible.
Besides super slow-motion recording, the update also brings in new AI features, 3D portrait light effect and other such smart features. The camera can now recognize 19 categories from over 500 different scenes to give the best possible results. Huawei plans to roll out the update to a limited number of smartphones. Users who want an early experience of the features need to register on Huawei’s Pollen club under Member Services.
