We are less than a month away from Huawei launching its P20 series smartphones at an event in Paris. That however is not stopping the leaks. We have already seen what the P20 Lite smartphone will look like, and a new leak gives us a glimpse at the blue variant.
The photos shared by Slashleaks show the front and back of the Huawei P20 Lite. Yet again one can only marvel at how this upcoming smartphone seems to look similar to the Apple iPhone X. The front is dominated by the screen, and at the top is the notch. Surprisingly, there’s no physical button up front; something that we have seen in the previous leaks. Instead, the fingerprint sensor is placed at the back. The rear is also where we see the dual-camera module that is vertically aligned a la iPhone X.
Unlike the black variant we have seen in the previous leaks, the blue variant seen here gets a glossy finish. While that no doubt adds to the premium factor, it will surely be a fingerprint and smudge magnet.
Based on what we have come across so far, the Huawei P20 Lite is expected to feature a 5.6-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and will be powered by a Kirin 659 processor. The rest of the rumored features include 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 3,520mAh battery.
The dual-camera setup is expected to include 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, the device is expected to come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, the device is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo.
A recent listing revealed that the upcoming P20 Lite will be priced at €369 (around Rs 30,000). Besides the P20 Lite, Huawei is also expected to take the wraps off two more smartphones during the March 27 event – P20 and P20 Plus.
