Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite, the two new smartphones from China’s leading smartphone maker, will go on sale from May 3. However, the two smartphones are now available via early access program to Prime members on Amazon India. Those purchasing the smartphone via Prime Early Access sale also get free delivery tomorrow.
The e-commerce giant is offering up to Rs 5,000 instant discount on Axis Bank Credit and Debit Card. The offer is valid from May 2 to May 7 for both these devices and customers can available extra up to Rs 6,000 off on exchange. The smartphones can be purchased via no cost EMI option and Vodafone users can get additional 100GB free data for a period of 10 months. The P20 Lite and P20 Pro will be available for general public from tomorrow.
Huawei P20 Pro Specifications and Price
Huawei P20 Pro is the most premium smartphone offering from the Chinese smartphone maker yet. It features metal and glass design with a new back color called twilight that changes its hue according to light being reflected by the surface. The P20 Pro features a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Like the iPhone X, Huawei P20 Pro also sports a notch that hides the front-facing camera and microphone.
The Huawei P20 Pro is powered by company’s flagship Kirin 970 chipset along with a dedicated neural processing unit. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. While the specifications are top notch, the P20 Pro’s real selling point is the Leica-branded triple camera setup.
It features a combination of three cameras with 40-megapixel primary lens with larger 1/1.7-inch sensor and wider f/1.8 aperture. The primary camera is accompanied by another 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and support for 3x optical zoom. There is also a third 20-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/1.6 aperture. All the three cameras support optical image stabilization and laser autofocus. There is also a 24-megapixel selfie shooter at the front with f/2.0 aperture and support for 720p video recording.

Huawei P20 Pro, unlike other flagship smartphones, features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. It features a non-removable 4,000mAh battery and uses USB Type-C port for charging. It is priced at Rs 64,999 and will only available in blue color.
Huawei P20 Lite Specifications and Price
The P20 Lite is basically a stripped down version of Huawei’s flagship smartphone. It features a 5.84-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Huawei’s mid-range Kirin 659 CPU with octa-core configuration and Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processor. It offers 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via SD card slot.
On the camera front, the Huawei P20 Lite offers a combination of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera setup. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, uses USB Type-C port for charging and packs a smaller 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999 and will be available in black and blue color.
Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box
The Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Lite both come with Android 8.0 Oreo based on EMUI 8.0 out of the box. They support wireless connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE.
