Huawei is all set to launch its TalkBand B5, the successor to its TalkBand B3 on July 18 along with its upcoming smartphone Nova 3. Just a week before the launch of the wearable device, its listing was spotted on a Chinese online retailer, Vmall.com. The listing reveals all the specifications of the device along with renders leaving nothing to our imagination. According to the listing, the device will come with 1.113-inch AMOLED display with 300×160 pixels resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on the top.

As previously revealed the TalkBand will also come with a pop-out Bluetooth headset that will allow users to take the band out of its strap and then use it as an earphone to attend calls. Users can also use the headset to listen to music. The listing states that the TalkBand B5 comes with an IP67 rating for its dust and water resistance. It also comes with a built-in heart-rate sensor along with the “Huawei TruRelax” technology that uses the sensor to check the stress of the user and the suggest breathing and other physical activities. This is not the only technology that Huawei claims to pack with the B5 as the listing page also mentions “Huawei TruSleep” and “TruSeen” 2.0.

“TruSleep” monitors the sleep of the user including deep sleep which is also known as “REM” to offer recommendations on how to improve the sleep while “TruSeen” offers continuous heart rate monitoring to the user while running, walking, cycling, and other activities. Other features include distance measurement, calories used, steps walked, speed dial, call history, health assistant and caller ID or call mute that is only limited to Huawei EMUI 4.1 and above.

TalkBand B5 uses Bluetooth 4.2 technology to connect to devices with Android 4.4 and above and iOS 9.0 to provide users with a detailed breakdown of everything that it has recorded. The band is powered by a 108mAh battery offering 6 hours of talk time and up to 3.5 hours of battery life which would obviously depend on your settings. There is no information on if and when Huawei will launch the TalkBand B5 in the Indian market.
