Hungama.com launches music app for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10

The music website Hungama.com has finally arrived as a dedicated music app for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10 platforms. Hungama.com’s arrived much later to the market, given that its competitors like Gaana.com and Saavn are already providing support for offline music streaming.

With over 2 million songs from Bollywood, and regional languages including Telugu, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Malayalam and other, and South Asian music in its kitty, the app works on points-based model with rewards given for watching videos, playing or sharing music, inviting friends or even creating playlists. These points can further be redeemed to download and own content, movie tickets, autographed merchandise, and various other goodies offered online.

The application offers several options including Mood Discovery, which allows users to discover music on the basis of mood, tempo, language, genre or era. The app also comes with a “My Stream” option that integrates social networks as a mean of increasing reach and engaging others by allowing users to invite, share and connect with their friends through these platforms.

The Hungama music app is available for free in the iOS App Store, Google Play Store and Blackberry App World.
