iBall has launched the Andi 3e and Andi 4d smartphones in India, both of which run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Andi 3e sports a 3.2-inch capacitive LCD display, a 650MHz processor, a  3.2-megapixel camera, bluetooth, GPRS and flaunts dual-sim capabilities. This device costs Rs 6,990. The Andi 4d on the other hand is billed a higher end model and features a 1GHz processor, a 4-inch capacitive display, a 5-megapixel camera, a suite of sensors and dual-sim capabilities. The Andi 4d costs Rs 9,490.

Only recently, Spice had released its Stellar range of smartphones which includes the Stellar that also features similar set of specs and dual sim capabilities when compared with the Andi 4d. That said, the Spice Stellar is slightly a more pricey proposition at Rs 9,999, but the company is also promising an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Even the Andi 3e has competition, in the form of the Spice Stellar Craze, which admittedly has better specs including a faster 800MHz processor, a larger 3.5-inch display and a large 1,420 mAh battery and is also slightly cheaper than the Andi 3e at Rs 6,499.
