iBall Slide 6309i launched for Rs 5,199, features a 7-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

After launching the Slide i9702 back in October, iBall has now added another tablet to its range of Slide performance tablets called the Slide 6309i. The entry-level tablet is available for Rs 5,199 and is one of the cheapest 7-inch tablets with a HD display.

In terms of specifications the Slide 6309i sports a 7-inch HD (1024×600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor and 1GB DDR3 of RAM. The tablet also includes features like a 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 2GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card and a 3,000mAH battery. For connectivity the tablet features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, HDMI port and supports 3G through a USB dongle. On the software front the tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The iBall Slide 6309i sports a decent set of specifications for its price point and will compete against the likes of the Videocon VT71 and the Lava Etab Xtron among others.
