Idea launches ID-918 dual-sim 3G Android smartphone for Rs 5,994

Idea Cellular has launched a dual-sim Android smartphone called the ID-918 in India for Rs 5,994. The device packs in a 3.2-inch capacitive display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, a micro-SD card slot, built-in social media apps and has the Idea TV app pre-installed on it. The device runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

Idea is offering data services worth Rs 2,300 with Rs 259 pack. The Rs. 259 pack offers free subscription to Idea TV for 3 months and 2GB of data download per month for 3 months,  for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
