Idea Ultra+ and FAB Android smartphones launched in India for Rs 8,300 and Rs 4,999 respectively

Idea Cellular has launched two new Android 3G smartphones in India called the Ultra+ and FAB. The two affordable smartphones are priced at Rs 8,300 and Rs 4,999 respectively, and will be available at retail stores in Idea’s 3G circles.

Speaking of specifications, the Idea Ultra+ comes with a 5 inch touchscreen display with 480×854 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera, 4GB internal memory that can be extended using a microSD card and a 2,000mAh battery.

The entry-level FAB, on the other hand, features a 4-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and 4GB internal memory with microSD card support. Also included is 3.2-megapixel rear camera, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Both the smartphones run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The smartphones are being offered with special offers including 1.6GB of 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs 259 for existing subscribers. New subscribers, on the other hand, can opt for Rs 261, wherein you will get 1.6GB of 3G data and Free Idea TV for 3 months.
