India Elections 2014: Hike messenger launches a host of political-themed stickers

With the country gearing up for General Elections, India’s Hike messenger has added to the frenzy by launching a host of political stickers for the messaging app. These new stickers are available on iOS, Android, Blackberry, WP, S40 and S60 platforms.

As seen in the image above, these political-themed stickers are based on politicians like Arvind Kejrival, Rahul Gandhi, and Narandra Modi with his now viral party motto, “Ab ki baar Modi Sarkar.” In addition to the politicians, the pack also includes other stickers created around the election theme.

Recently, Hike announced that it now had more than 15 million registered users, though it wouldn’t reveal how many of them were active on a daily basis. It also secured a $14 million funding from Bharti SoftBank, which it plans on using to scale up its operation.
