Late last week, the new lineup of the Apple iPhone 2018 was revealed in a video online. Mobile Fun had posted a video that revealed the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and the iPhone (208). This development now seems to be confirmed by Les Numériques, a French publication.
For a long time, leaks and rumors have hinted that Apple was preparing three new iPhones for its next release. A model based on the current iPhone X, another with a slightly larger screen on the same format, and a “mid-range” model, which is now believed to be the iPhone 9. This has been revealed in an image by Les Numériques.
In the image leaked, the next iPhone models are ordered according to their respective screen sizes. These three dimensions collaborate well with the leaks that have been doing the rounds in recent months, with the smallest iPhone model at 5.8 inch, and the largest at 6.5 inch. All the three devices come equipped with a ‘notch’ and a glass back. There is a difference, however, between the two devices with the screen panel.
The iPhone XS, which is expected to be the successor of iPhone X will bear an OLED display. It will also have a much improved dual rear-camera. In addition, the phone is expected to have a toughened glass back cover and some added features. The iPhone 9 will come equipped with a 6.1-inch LCD screen that would also implement the front aesthetics of the iPhone X, with FaceID within its ‘notch’.
Watch: iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone 2018
For the mid-range iPhone model, it would get a single rear camera and wireless charging technology. Closing the trio of releases, the iPhone XS Plus would have a 6.5 inch OLED screen, with the same wireless charging tech on its rear glass back. For the camera, the iPhone XS Plus will have the same configuration as the iPhone XS. The available storage capacity and price for any of the three model continues to remain a mystery. We’ll have to wait till the official launch, or more leaks and updates.
