The IPL 2018 T20 cricket tournament has just started with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. Telecom operators are rolling out attractive data plans to enable users to live stream the matches on the go. After Reliance Jio and BSNL, Bharti Airtel has now launched a Rs 499 prepaid plan bundled with 164GB high-speed 4G data.
Under this plan, users get to enjoy daily 2GB high-speed 4G data, along with unlimited local and national calls, and 100 free local and national SMS per day. The plan comes with a validity of 82 days. Now, unlike other unlimited plans that come with daily or weekly FUP limits, the Rs 499 plan comes with truly unlimited calling benefits.
Airtel also recently partnered Hotstar for IPL 2018 live streaming. Airtel users need to install Airtel TV and Hotstar apps on their smartphone. Next, users need to head over to the Airtel TV app and tap on IPL content, which will then open the Hotstar app, and users can live steam IPL 2018 matches for free.

Reliance Jio, recently launched the ‘Cricket Season Pack’ priced at Rs 251. Called Cricket Gold Pass on the MyJio app, the pack offers users with free access to IPL content. It comes with a validity of 51 days and includes 102GB of data, which is equivalent to 2GB data per day. The pack will be valid between April 7 and May 27, allowing users to get all the benefits of IPL 2018 season. It is important to note that this is just a data pack and does not include voice calling or SMS benefits.
State-owned telecom operator, BSNL, on the other hand, has launched the Rs 248 plan which offers 153GB 3G data, which is 3GB per day, along with a validity of 51 days. At the given price and data benefits, BSNL’s plan is the cheapest in the market, but you only get 3G data speeds as opposed to Airtel and Reliance Jio that offer 4G data speeds. Just like Reliance Jio, it is a data plan without any calling or SMS benefits.
