Taking phablets to an altogether new level, Karbonn Mobile has launched an Android smartphone with a massive 5.9-inch display. Bordering on the size that would induce identity crisis, the Karbonn A30 features a 1GHz dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras and comes with dual-SIM feature with one SIM 3G-enabled SIM card slot.
The A30 runs on Android ICS and features a massive 2,500 mAh battery. At the moment, we do not have clarity on the RAM and internal storage capacity or the claimed battery standby and talk time. The A30 is priced at Rs 11,500 and will offer stiff competition to the Micromax Canvas 2 A110, which features a relatively “smaller” 5-inch display and shares most of the specifications of the A30 and is priced at Rs 10,000.
The Karbonn A30 is available at Saholic for Rs 11,500.
