Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn has launched its first smartphone powered by a hexa-core processor called the Titanium Hexa. The smartphone is priced at Rs 16,900 and it will be available in the first week of April.
As mentioned above, this is Karbonn’s first hexa-core smartphone and the only other smartphone powered by a processor with similar number of cores is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. The latter is powered by a Exynos 5 Hexa 5260 SoC, while the Titanium Hexa is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6591 hexa-core processor.
The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LTPS display and features a 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and a 2,050mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G support, Bluetooth, aGPS and on the software front it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
