In addition to launching its first hexa-core smartphone, Karbonn today also launched its first two octa-core powered smartphones. Called the Titanium Octane and the Titanium Octane Plus, the two smartphones are priced at Rs 14,490 and Rs 17,990. Like the Titanium Hexa, these two smartphones will also be available in the first week of April.
As mentioned above, both the octa-core smartphones are powered by a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.7GHz. On the software front, both the devices also run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Talking of the Titanium Octane, it flaunts a 5-inch 720p display and features 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and a 2,000mAh battery.
The Titanium Octane Plus, on the other hand, flaunts a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera and a 2,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options for both the devices include Connectivity options include 3G support, Bluetooth, aGPS. The Titanium Octane and the Titanium Octane Plus join the likes of the other octa-core smartphones like the Micromax Canvas Knight A350, Intex Aqua Octa and the WickedLeak Wammy Passion X.
