Karbonn Titanium S99 takes on Motorola Moto E; entry-level Android KitKat smartphone priced in India at Rs 5,990



Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn is taking on the popular Motorola Moto E with its new smartphone called the Titanium S99. the affordable smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is priced at Rs 5,990.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Titanium S99 sports a 4-inch IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Also included is 4GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 1,400mAh battery and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. As mentioned above, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Karbonn is offering the smartphone in black and white colors and has also bundled a protective silicon case.

The Titanium S99 joins the likes of the Motorola Moto EMicromax Unite 2, Xolo Q1000 Opus and the Lava Iris X1 as Android KitKat smartphones priced below Rs 10,000.
