Lava’s first quad-core smartphone, the XOLO Q800 sports a 4.5-inch diplay, 8-megapixel camera and runs on Android Jelly Bean

It has been rumored for some time now that Lava has been working on releasing its first quad-core phone called the XOLO Q800. The device has been spotted on Flipkart along with its specifications.

The XOLO Q800 sports a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive IPS (540×960 pixels) display and is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB RAM. It also includes features like a 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera, 4GB internal storage with a microSD slot for cards up to 32GB and a 2,100mAH battery. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Flipkart has currently listed the XOLO Q800 under ‘Coming Soon’ with no mention on any price. When officially launched we expect the phone to be priced around the Rs 10,000-15,000 range, competing directly with the Micromax A116 Canvas HD.
