After launching the Iris 505 and the 506Q earlier this year, Lava has launched two new devices called the Iris 503 and the 3G 402. The smartphones are priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 5,499 respectively and both the devices are available on e-commerce sites and retail stores across the country.
Talking of specifications, the Iris 503 flaunts a 5-inch QHD (540×960 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Other features included are a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera, a 2,000mAh battery and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. In terms of competition, it will be up against the likes of Xolo 600 and Celkon A107+ among others.
The budget-friendly 3G 402, on the other hand, features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 256MB of RAM and expandable memory. Additionally, it also includes a 3-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 1,500mAh battery and connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and in terms of competition, it will be up against the likes of Videocon A24 and the Xolo A500S among others.
