Lava amps up its flagship Iris Pro series by launching the Iris Pro 30+ smartphone for Rs 11,999. The smartphone is an upgraded version of the Iris Pro 30 with a faster processor, more internal space and better camera.
The smartphone comes with a 4.7-inch 720p display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor as opposed to 1.2GHz quad-core in its predecessor. Alongside 1GB RAM, it is packed with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable to 32 GB. The Iris Pro 30 only gave 4GB of internal storage.
The Iris Pro 30+ sports a 13-megapixel rear camera as opposed to the 8-megapixel in Iris Pro 30 and a 3-megapixel front camera with BSI II sensor having a size of 1/3.2 inch and 1.1 micron Omni BSI-II pixel architecture that helps capture images in low-light.
The Iris Pro 30+ runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. On the connectivity front, it is 3G enabled and supports EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and OTG Connectivity. It is powered by a 2,000mAh battery, which the company claims, gives up to 9 hours of talktime.
It is also interesting to note that the predecessor Lava Iris Pro 30 with its specifications and features was launched in January for Rs15,999 while the Iris Pro 30+ with better specifications has been launched at Rs 11,999.
The Iris Pro 30+ is available in black color and is now available in retail stores. It will also be available online on Amazon.in with a 16GB memory card free on 26th August from 1PM onwards.
