Lava teases Iris 504Q with gesture controls, quad-core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean in promo video


Lava seems to be quite inspired by the gesture based controls as seen on the Samsung devices. As expected, the domestic vendor is all set to launch its new smartphone named the Iris 504Q which will feature gesture controls. The company is teasing the smartphone in a video that shows off what looks like a 5-inch smartphone which is capable of understanding gestures to operate several functions.

The video shows how one could simply swipe images on the phone by swinging hand in the air in front of the screen. This feature will use the camera of the phone, to operate several gesture based control. The Q in the name indicates a quad-core processor running under the hood. The phone will also feature an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. On the software front, the phone will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Rest of the features will be unveiled when the phone gets launched in a couple of hours.
