Lava Xolo A1000 pictured, has a 5-inch display and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Last year, we exclusively managed to get our hand-on the first Intel smartphone, the Lava Xolo X900. Ever since, the Xolo X900, Lava has managed to get a lot of attention. Earlier in the year it even launched the first smartphone based on Intel’s Lexington chip, the Xolo X500 and today the folks at Fone Arena have published a hands-on of the Xolo A1000, which becomes the company’s first 5-inch Android smartphone. Apparently they managed to get their hands on a prototype in the capital.

According to the post, the A1000 flaunts a slim form-factor of 8.8mm and is superior to most 5-inch phablets in terms of industrial design. Unlike the X900 it is based on a dual-core ARM chipset. It also has a 2,100-mAh battery and it will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The report states that the device could land in the market by the end of February and will have a price between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000.

i have purchased this set and then only i come to know that xolo is fooling every one by saying that set is faulty but the thing is the whole package (hardware+ Software) is a faulty combination mtk processor always struggle to play 720 p videos and here the display itself is 720 p because of this phone was not able to perform other than lags all the things lags on this mobile. can not even play a basic game without lag. and it is no where near any android phone in the market. but its the most lagy android phone in the recent time. benchmark are as follows 2508 quadrant and nenamark 2 is more shocking only17.1 (how could any one think that this phone can compete with any of the phone) i know this because i have wasted my 12500 INR on this handset, and re-grating for my decision. this phone have only one thing and that is look, (its not a smart phone but it is just a dual sim phone). the performance of this phone tells that how much R & D was done by the xolo company before releasing this phone. just rebranding the cheap crap of the china. ……….
