With its new ThinkSmart Hub 700, Lenovo wants to fix this very issue affecting companies around the world.
Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 700 is a flying saucer-shaped mini PC that wants to act as the central device for office chats. Lenovo says ThinkSmart Hub 700 can deliver a big boost in audio quality and will enhance your Skype conference calls using the four-speaker Dolby audio system. In addition to boosting the audio performance, the Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 700 can also help when you are ready to make a presentation.

The ThinkSmart Hub 700 acts as a simple pass-through for a single device and it is equipped with collaborative mode that helps multiple workers to share their charts and slideshows. Like the new Cortana speaker Microsoft demoed at Build 2018 last month, the ThinkSmart Hub 700 also comes with embedded with sensors that can detect people in the room and easily pair their devices.

Lenovo has not revealed the price for the ThinkSmart Hub 700 but it is safe to assume that it will be aligned with the budget of most enterprise customers. The bigger question for enterprise would be whether it is enough to fix the problem with conference calls and will this device get their employees excited about the next closed-door meeting.
