Lenovo’s recently announced Vibe Z smartphone is up for pre-order on the company’s e-store in India. The company has priced the phone at Rs 34,999 on its website, which is Rs 1,000 less than the price at which Lenovo had announced the phone in India.
The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (not expandable). It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f1.8 aperture lens and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone offers Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
In addition to this, Lenovo is also giving away freebies including a Z smart touch cover worth Rs 2,039 with the phone.
At this pprice, the phone will face a tough competition from the Samsung Galaxy S4, price of which have been slashed down to Rs 30,000. Other competitors in the list include the Gionee Elife E7 and Sony Xperia Z1. You can read the specification comparison of the phones here.
