Lenovo’s upcoming smartphone Z5 has created quite a stir among fans and the industry. This is due to the fact that the teasers of the Lenovo Z5 points to the fact that the device will have a hitherto unseen screen to body ratio with nearly non existent bezels among other distinguishing features.
One of these features that will make the device stand out in a crowd of nearly bezel less, dual-camera phones of 2018 is its Portrait Mode of the rear dual camera setup. And now Lenovo Group’s VP, Chang Cheng, has released a few shots on a Weibo post according to a report by the website My Drivers.
The watermark on the bottom left of the shots indicate that the rear camera module will have a dual lens setup which will be governed by AI like most high end phones of 2018. Check out the shots here.
According to the shots and render image release by Cheng earlier, there is no fingerprint sensor at the bottom, and unlike other Android OEMs, Lenovo won’t adopt the display notch. Considering this, it is expected that the Lenovo Z5 will likely come with an under-display fingerprint sensor. And as there is no notch to house the earpiece, it could come with an in-screen earpiece, something similar to what Xiaomi had done with the Mi MIX.
Lenovo Z5 is expected to be a top of the line model from the company and would feature the best specs possible in the industry with a Snapdragon 845 chipset. And if past rumors are to be believed, the Z5 will be featuring an enormous 5TB internal storage.
