LG has launched three new color variants for the G6, and two new color variants for the Q6 smartphones. The LG G6 will get the Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, and Raspberry Rose variants. The LG Q6, on the other hand, will get the Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet variants.
After the new launch, the total number of colors available for LG G6 to eight, whereas the Q6 is now offered in a total of seven colors. According to LG, the new color options for the G6 and Q6 will first be rolled out in South Korea in February, but they will be later made available in other ‘key markets’ soon. The pricing details of the smartphones are currently not known but reports suggest that they will cost more than the existing colors.
To recap, the LG G6 was unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2017 in February and the Q6 debuted in July 2017.
In terms of specifications, the LG G6 features a 5.7-inch QHD display. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 4GB RAM. There is also 64GB of internal storage. It is fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The phone features a dual-camera setup at the rear, which includes a pair of 13-megapixel camera sensors with PDAF, LED flash and OIS. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. The smartphone recently also received a series of price drops, and is now available in India for around Rs 32,990.
On the other hand, the LG Q6 comes with a 5.5-inch FullVision Display with full HD resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. It also comes with 32GB onboard storage. The LG Q6 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel 100-degree wide-angle front camera. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
