LG Optimus 3D 2 caught in the wild
Now here comes another leak! We enjoy such days when every other device somehow leaks out of the cauldron of these major vendors right before the MWC event every year. The latest device that has managed to show up right before its official announcement is the LG’s second generation of Optimus handset, the LG CX2 aka the Optimus 3D 2. While the original Optimus 3D couldn’t ripple some serious waves in the industry, the new display according to the leak improves both the 3D effect and legibility, thanks to an IPS-based screen. Read on..
The device is going to be somewhere around 9.9mm thick. Though we have heard that the Optimus 3D 2 will have a larger screen but judging by the image above, the screen size looks almost the same as the previous version. Don’t expect the Optimus 3D 2 to breathe on Android ICS as the icons on the display of the handset show that it will be based on the Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread. LG will show off this brand new avatar of the Optimus 3D at the MWC this month after which, almost in 3 months, the CX2 aka the Optimus 3D 2 will then be rolled out in different countries.
