Back in November, we heard that LG was planning on unveiling the Optimus G in January, but that’s yet to happen and Engadget is already reporting the leaked specs of the Optimus G Pro. Specs wise, it is an iteration over the Optimus G.
According to the leak have a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with a clock speed of 1.7GHz, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2.4-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 3,000 mAh battery and it will run on Android Jelly Bean.
We have also been hearing whispers of a LG made Nexus 5 and considering the Optimus G was the template for the Nexus 4, the same could be true about the Optimus G Pro. That said, reports so far indicate that the Nexus 5 could have a Nvidia Tegra 4 processor while the Optimus G Pro is still running a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip.
