LG Optimus L1 II launched with 3-inch display and Android Jelly Bean


After unveiling its flagship smartphone, the G2, a couple of days back, LG has today introduced the Optimus L1 II smartphone, which is the most affordable Android Jelly Bean based smartphone launched by LG.

Talking about specifications, the LG Optimus L1 II has a 3-inch QVGA display which offers 240×320 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 512MB RAM. Additionally, there is a 4GB of internal storage which is supplemented with a 32GB microSD card support. On the software front, it runs on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean. Multimedia features in the phone include a 2-megapixel rear fixed-focus camera which is also capable of recording videos of VGA quality, and a VGA front camera. Connectivity-wise, it supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS and A-GPS. Besides this, it houses a 1,540mAh battery.

The handset has for now been launched in Vietnam and is expected to be launched in other markets later, though there is no information about its launch in India.
