LG has launched its first Q series smartphone in India today. Dubbed as the mini version of the LG G6, the LG Q6 is priced at Rs 14,990, and is available exclusively via Amazon India. The LG Q6 is available in three color options of astro black, ice platinum, and terra gold.
The LG Q6 carries the company’s FullVision display, which was introduced on the flagship LG G6 smartphone. The LG Q6 flaunts a 5.5-inch FullVision Display with full HD resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. In terms of design, the LG Q6 sports a metal body with “H Beam” frame which is said to better endure impact from any direction. It also has Military standard 810G certification, and comes preloaded with Google Assistant. For security, the LG Q6 comes with facial recognition and KnockCode as well.
There are some launch offers available on the purchase of the LG Q6. Firstly, consumers get a one-time free screen replacement within six months. Reliance Jio users can avail up to 50GB of additional data with the smartphone. LG Q6 users also get Rs 3,200 worth of game items for free on various games like Disney Magic Kingdom, Spiderman Ultimate Power, and N.O.V.A Legacy. On Amazon, consumers can purchase the LG Q6 with a no cost EMI starting at Rs 713 per month. At present, only the astro black and ice platinum color variants are available.

The LG Q6 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. It also comes with 32GB onboard storage with further expansion support via a microSD card. In the photography department, the LG Q6 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. Up front, it houses a 5-megapixel 100-degree wide-angle front camera. The smartphone also comes with LG’s Square Camera feature, which has four modes of shooting namely Snap Shot, Grid Shot, Guide Shot, and Match Shot. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options available on the LG Q6 include dual-SIM support, 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and USB OTG.
