LG V30+ with 18:9 aspect ratio to launch in India on December 13: Here’s what we know so far
LG V30+ is the bigger variant of the already launched LG V30.
After launching the LG V30 in India last month at Rs 47,990, the company has sent out media invites for the India launch of the LG V30+. The event will be held in Delhi on December 13. From what we know so far, the smartphone is known for its FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and dual-camera setup at the back.
The LG V30+ comes with similar features and specifications as that of the LG V30, except for the storage. While the LG V30 is equipped with 64GB internal storage, the V30+ comes with 128GB of internal storage. Talking about the USP of the phone, just like the LG V30, the LG V30+ also comes with 18:9 aspect ratio and dual-camera setup. Other notable features include 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, IP68 certified dust and water-resistance, and a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

In terms of specifications, the LG V30+ will come with a 6-inch quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) FullVision OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also extends support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 for an even enhanced viewing experience. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is clocked at 2.35GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM.
On the camera front, there is a combination of a 16-megapixel camera with f/1.6 aperture and a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens at the back. The camera is capable of offering Hybrid Auto Focus, OIS and EIS. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera.
Armed with a 3,300mAh battery, the phone also supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. The smartphone is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The LG V30, on the other hand, runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box.
