After launching the G6 earlier this year at MWC 2017, LG debuted the V30 and V30+ smartphones at IFA 2017 in Berlin, Germany. Today, LG has launched the V30+ smartphone in India priced at Rs 44,990. It will go on sale starting December 18, and will be available to purchase from Amazon India.
One of the highlights of the LG V30+ include a 6-inch 18:9 FullVision display with support for HDR10, dual-camera setup at the back, 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC for a premium audio experience. The smartphone also comes with face unlock feature, a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
LG V30+ specifications, features
At the heart of the V30+ runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC, which is clocked at 2.35GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM. It is paired with 128GB onboard storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
In the photography department, the V30+ features dual-camera setup at the back – one is a 16-megapixel standard lens with aperture f/1.6, and the other is a 13-megapixel 120-degree wide-angle lens with aperture f/1.9. The camera lets you capture standard and wide-angle photos. It also includes Hybrid Auto Focus for quick focusing, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) to ensure you are able to record blur-free videos.
Another interesting aspect of the LG V30+ camera app is the manual controls while recording videos. You can tweak the auto white balance, exposure and shutter speed, something that you won’t find on other smartphones.
Armed with a 3,300mAh battery, the smartphone supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging standard. With connectivity options such as Bluetooth, 4G with VoLTE, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac, the smartphone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, and Android 8.0 Oreo update is expected in the coming weeks.
