Micromax’s forthcoming Canvas 4 A210 has managed to generate quite a bit of excitement among potential buyers. This was especially evident when without revealing any specifications; the Indian smartphone vendor received more than 4,081 bookings in the first seven hours since it started accepting pre-orders. Ahead of an unveiling on July 8, AndroidOS.in claims to have received the specifications of the flagship device.
According to the report, the Canvas 4 is 8.9mm thick with a plastic body and an aluminum frame and weighs in at 145 grams. It flaunts a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM.
Features included are 16GB of internal expandable internal storage, 2,000mAh battery and talking of its photo-clicking abilities, the device offers a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera at the front.
The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and Micromax is said to be pricing the device somewhere between Rs 16,000 and Rs 18,000. This is a departure from the specifications that have been claimed earlier, including a 5.5-inch 1080p display, among others. However, the official photos of the Canvas 4 seem to gel well with the latest claimed specifications.
