Earlier this week, we reported about Micromax’s plans to launch the Canvas Fire A093. Now the Indian smartphone vendor has quietly launched the Motorola Moto E competitor, and it is available on e-commerce sites for Rs 6,999.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Canvas Fire A093 sports a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM. Also included is 4GB of internal storage, of which around 1.5GB is available to the users. You can expand the storage using a microSD card.
The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,750mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for seven hours of talktime and 180 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slot, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Canvas Fire A093 also has dual front-facing speakers.
At this price point, it will be up against other Android KitKat smartphones like the Motorola Moto E and the Karbonn Titanium S99 among others.
