Micromax Funbook Talk P360 launched for Rs 7,049, features 7-inch display, 2G calling and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Earlier today we reported on the availability of Micromax A72 smartphone on Snapdeal, following which is the Micromax Funbook Talk P360 tablet which is now selling on the retail portal for Rs 7,049. The USP of the tablet is that it comes with 2G calling capabilities allowing users to make and take calls over 2G network. Also, as Micromax introduced Funbook series of tablets to cater to the needs of students and collaborated with various content providers to feature educational content, this tablet also comes pre-loaded with such applications and content.

As far as the features of the device go, it comes equipped with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 pixels and is powered by 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 single-core processor. It also features a 1GB RAM with 1.65GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 32GB. The tablet sports a 2-megapixel primary snapper along with a 0.3-megapixel secondary one, and is capable of recording at VGA and playing HD videos at 1080p.  Other features in the tablet include motion sensors, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio-video player and a 3000mAh battery offering 180 hours of standby time. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. and pre-installed applications like M! Store, Edutainment, among others.
