Microsoft Surface Pro 4 specifications and features: It flaunts a 12.3-inch (2736×1824 pixels) PixelTouch display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and pixel density of 267ppi. To keep scratches at bay, its screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Intel’s 6-generation Core processors (from Core M3 to Core i7) and paired with Intel HD Graphics 515, Intel HD Graphics 520, or Intel Iris Graphics. The tablet is also equipped with 4GB to 16GB of RAM and internal storage option from 128GB to 1TB, depending on the variant that you choose.
The Surface Pro 4 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing unit for selfies and video calling. It comes with a non-removable battery that can last for up to nine hours on full charge. In terms of connectivity, the tablet is equipped with one USB 3.0 port (two USB 3.0 ports on top end variant), an Ethernet port, a Mini DisplayPort with support for 4K output. On the software front, it runs on Windows 10 Pro OS.
Along with the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft is also expected to launch the Surface Pen, which can detect 1,024 points of pressure. It also comes with an eraser that can come handy when doodling or using photo editing apps. To make typing easier, Microsoft also has a Type Cover accessory with a glass trackpad and spacious keys.
