The Moto C Plus has finally been made official in India today. The entry-level Android smartphone will go on sale tomorrow at 12 PM for a limited period. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone will go on exclusive sale on India’s leading e-commerce website, Flipkart.
Flipkart and Motorola will only be making a limited number of Moto C Plus units available for the online sale. From the listing on the e-commerce platform, the smartphone can also be purchased at an EMI of Rs 340 per month. The company is also offering a Bluetooth headset and free 4G data along with Reliance Jio Prime subscription on the purchase of the Moto C Plus.
The USP of Moto C Plus is said to be the onboard Google Assistant support as it runs on Android Nougat 7.0. The smartphone also houses a relatively large 4,000 mAh battery. To put things in perspective, Moto C has a 5-inch FWVGA display, and it is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor. It comes with 1GBof RAM coupled with 8GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Moto C Plus is a one up to company’s previously launched Moto C smartphone. Moto C currently retails at Rs 5,999 in India and is only available via offline retail distributors. It has a 5-inch IPS HD (720p) display and is powered by a 1.35Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset. Moto C Plus comes with 2GB of RAM coupled with 16GB internal storage. In terms of optics, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera on the rear panel with AutoFocus and two LED flash. Up front, it has a 2-megapixel selfie snapper with LED flash too.
