Motorola India is all set to launch its latest budget smartphone, the Moto E5 in the Indian market. The company is scheduled to launch the device in a launch event in New Delhi at 3 PM later today. This device is aimed at users with a limited budget and placed below the Moto G series. The company plans to take the competition to its rivals including Xiaomi, and Smartron in this segment. The company has already launched the E5 Plus in other markets and Motorola will launch the device in the Indian market as an Amazon-exclusive. The device will also be available on Moto Hubs across the country.

According to the hints and teasers on the Amazon India landing page, the device is expected to come with “big battery”, and “big screen”. According to the landing page, the device will launch in two colors, “Fine Gold”, and “Black”. The company has not revealed any pricing details about the device but it is likely that the device will be priced between Rs 7,000 and Rs 11,000. Moto E5 features and specifications

Moto E5 Plus features a big battery and a large screen. As reported previously, it comes with a 6-inch HD+ (1440×720 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Motorola has added a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel sensor with LED flash on the front for selfies. The device will come with a 5,000mAh battery along with support for Turbo Power fast charging technology that Motorola claims is good enough to last at least 1.5 days.
