The Moto G6 and G6 Plus are set to officially launch on April 19. Regardless of that date, we now almost know what the smartphone will be featuring in terms of specs and how it will look, thanks to multiple leaks through the last few months. And though we already knew how the devices would look, another set of images have emerged from case maker Olixar which has revealed phones before as well.
The images of the Moto G6 and G6 Plus cases and screen protectors show the devices in its entirety and from multiple angles. The covers are on sale right now on MobileFun’s website for both Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus. And these photos hold true to what we knew about the devices so far.
According to a listing by Amazon US and Canada, the Moto G6 will sport a 5.7-inch Max Vision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, with the earpiece, sensors and front flash above the display, and a thin capsule shaped fingerprint sensor at the bottom. At the back, you have a circular dual camera module with LED flash.
Just like the Moto X4, the Moto G6 renders also show off front and back glass design, with the back slightly curved. The power button and the volume rocker is on the right, whereas the bottom has USB Type-C port, and probably the 3.5mm socket is retained as well. We won’t be surprised to see IPXX certification for water and dust resistance, just like the Moto X4.
We can expect the smartphone to come with a Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM, and 32GB onboard storage, and a 3,000mAh battery.
In the photography department, a dual-camera setup is expected at the back, out of which one will likely be a 12-megapixel primary sensor, and the other could be a 5-megapixel sensor. The setup will allow for DSLR-like bokeh effects on your photos.
Up front, a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash is also expected. With 3,000mAh battery, connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are expected. There is no word on the operating system, but we are likely to see Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
