Motorola is gearing up to launch the new Moto G6-series smartphones at an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event is scheduled to take place on April 19, and head of the official unveiling, we have come across leaked press renders and rumored specifications. The Lenovo-owned company is expected to launch the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus smartphones at the event. Ahead of the formal launch, Motorola UK has posted a teaser on its Twitter handle that confirms some of the features of the upcoming smartphone.
The teaser doesn’t specific which device it is, but based on the renders and rumors, both the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus are expected to sport dual cameras at the back. The short video teaser shows the Black color variant of the smartphone, showing off the metal frame with glass back and curved edges, just like the Galaxy S9. The video also offers a glimpse at the dual rear cameras with dual tone LED flash, and front-facing fingerprint sensor, placed right below the display.
The video also shows a volume rocker placed next to a textured button, which looks similar to the Alert Slider as seen on OnePlus smartphones. A thin and long speaker grill above the display is also shown off, and it could double up as a stereo speaker. However, the teaser does not hint at any of the specifications of the smartphone.
