Motorola will be taking the wraps off its new G6 lineup this week. However, as is the case with most launches, there have been a bunch of leaks and revelations ahead of the April 19 event. The company will be introducing the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus at the upcoming event. In the latest addition to the trove of leaks is the Moto G6 Plus benchmark scores which showed up on the web today.
In its Geekbench listing, the Moto G6 Plus, which is also said to be the top-end among the three models, achieved a single-core test score of 866 and 4123 in multi-core test. In addition to the test scores, the benchmark listing also throws light on other specifications of the smartphone. Based on the listing, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Moto G6 Plus specifications
Earlier it was believed that the Moto G6 Plus will come equipped with Snapdragon 630 SoC, but the listing now appears to suggest otherwise. It is also speculated that the smartphone will be available in a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version as well. It remains to be seen if Motorola introduces two variants of the Moto G6 Plus. Another revelation from the listing suggests that the Moto G6 Plus will run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
Last week, renders of the Moto G6 Plus, along with partners Moto G6 Play and Moto G6, were spotted online. Based on those, the Moto G6 Plus will come with an 18:9 display screen. It is expected to pack a 5.7-inch display. Although the bezels will be narrower, they will continue to be prominent on the top and bottom. The smartphone will retain the front fingerprint sensor.

In terms of photography, the Moto G6 Plus is likely to feature a dual-camera setup at the back. It is likely to include a combination of 12-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel sensor at the back. Up front, it is expected to include a 16-megapixel sensor with a dedicated LED flash for selfies and video calling.
Moto G6 specifications
As for the Moto G6, the specifications of the smartphones were revealed via Amazon. Based on that, the smartphone is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Max Vision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 1.8GHz octa-core processor, dual rear cameras, battery with TurboPower fast charging capabilities, and 4G LTE support. It will also come with a fingerprint sensor.
Moto G6 Play specifications
The Moto G6 Play was also revealed through hands-on photos in the past. the Moto G6 Play will sport a 5.7-inch HD+ Max Vision display. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card. It is likely to pack the standard camera setup with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with a dedicated front flash. It is likely to be battery focused as well with a 4,000mAh battery.
