Moto X appears in a hands-on video ahead of August 1 launch [video]

With only a week till the Moto X is officially launched, rumors and leaks relating to the smartphone are cropping up thick and fast. After the recently leaked press renders and screenshots of the camera UI, Android Central has come across a video of a Moto X prototype in action.

Originally posted on Vietnamese site, the four minute video shows the exterior of the phone from all possible angles and also gives a glimpse into some of the software running on the device. There’s nothing that we don’t already know revealed in the video though.

In addition to what we see in the video above, rumors up till this point indicate that the Moto X is likely to feature a 4.7-inch display, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 10-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel secondary camera, 2,200mAh battery and 16GB of internal memory.

We have only to wait till August 1, when Motorola will finally unveil the much-awaited Moto X at an even in New York.
