After some very detailed Moto X4 renders surfaced on the internet recently, another set of renders have now leaked, leaving little to no scope of imagination. The leak brings a couple of real life images showing the front and back of the upcoming smartphone.
As we have noticed in the past renders as well, the purported Moto X4 live image shows the device sporting a dual-camera setup at the rear, placed in the middle of Motorola’s trademark embossed circle. Right above the dual-camera sit a dual-LED flash. Besides that, the power button and the volume rocker sit on the right. Up front, we can see a slit for the earpiece, proximity sensor, and an LED flash on the top, while the home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor sits at the bottom. As for the aesthetic part of it, the body of the purported Moto X4 looks a lot like Galaxy S8’s glass design.
And if you ask us about the authenticity of these renders, we wouldn’t say they are a 100 percent authentic, because unless Motorola officially reveals the phone, we can never be so sure. However, looking at the last two renders that leaked in this month, the renders look almost identical. So if multiple sources are suggesting similar details, it might just be the final design. Although angle of the recent renders is different, but the previous images suggested the presence of a Type-C port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the device. Another interesting thing that we found in the previously leaked images was that the SIM card slot was placed at the top of the phone. It is worth mentioning that the Moto X4 is expected to support dual-SIM.
If these renders are anything to go by, there could be two possible color options for the Moto X4. While the previous renders showed off an iPhone 7 jet black-like color, the one that has leaked today, looks more blue and metallic in texture. Moto X4 specifications and features
While that’s about all that we know about the Moto X4’s design, past leaks have also thrown some light on the smartphone’s possible specifications. According to reports, the Moto X4 could feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display, with a Snapdragon 630 chipset powering the device. Though some rumors have also hinted at a Snapdragon 660 SoC. The smartphone is believed to come in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and the other with 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage.
On the optics front, the Moto X4 is most likely to sport a dual-camera assembly, which will be a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. Up front, is expected to be an 8-megapixel sensor. A 3,000mAh battery will fuel the device, and it will run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Moto X4 price and availability
While there has been no teaser or invite from the company on the launch of the device yet, the Moto X4 will reportedly debut on August 24. In terms of pricing, leaks reveal that the smartphone will be priced starting €350 (Rs 26,400 approximately). ALSO READ: Moto X4 with dual rear cameras, curved display leaked: What we know so far
