Lenovo-backed Motorola has launched its Moto Mods in India. The new Moto Mods will work with its premium flagship Moto Z2-series in India. The company has launched three Moto Mods including the JBL SoundBoost 2 speaker Mod, Moto TurboPower Pack battery Mod and the GamePad Mod.
The JBL SoundBoost 2 will be available for Rs 6,999, while the GamePad Mod will cost Rs 6,999. The Moto TurboPower Pack Mod will set you back for Rs 5,999. All the three Mods will be available on Flipkart starting December 17. Motorola will also be selling the Moto Mods via their recently launched Moto Hubs. The company has also collaborated with “RentoMojo” to offer its customers a hands-on experience with the latest Moto Mods before buying them.
The JBL SoundBoost 2 Mod comes with a battery of 1,000mAh capacity. Motorola claims that the JBL SoundBoost 2 will give the user party-like music quality with 10 hours of playtime. A new app called “My JBL SoundBoost 2” will let the user adjust the sound.
The TurboPower Pack Mod also comes with four indicators that indicate the battery level of the mod. Once the Moto Mods runs out of charge, you can quickly recharge it up to 50% in 20 minutes using a charger that supports charging speeds of 30W.
The GamePad Mod, on the other hand, allows the user to transform their Moto phones into a hand-held gaming console.
To connect the Moto Mods all you have to do is snap on the Mod on the back of the phone. The Mods are connected to the 16-dot magnetic gold plated connector at the back of the phone, and software takes care of the rest.
