Last month, Motorola launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play smartphones in India. Both smartphones feature 18:9 displays, front and back glass design, Android 8.1 Oreo and more. Now, the company looks all set to launch the Moto G6 Plus variant in India soon. Motorola has started teasing the smartphone launch via its Twitter handle. However, the company hasn’t revealed the launch date.
“It’s time to ask for more from your smartphone. Get ready to say hello to the #MotoG6Plus, which is #BuiltForMore with a smart camera and serious performance! Stay tuned,” the tweet reads. With the teaser, Moto is specifically highlighting the dual-camera performance of the smartphone.

Moto G6 Plus specifications and features
The smartphone flaunts a tall 5.9-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 630 SoC with octa-core CPU, paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM options, and 64GB onboard storage. A microSD card slot for further expansion is also present.
In the photography department, the smartphone comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor. Up front is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling, along with an LED flash.

To keep things ticking, the Moto G6 Plus comes with a 3,200mAh with support for fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. Running on Android 8.1 Oreo, the smartphone comes with face unlock and a fingerprint sensor embedded inside the Moto logo at the back.
As of now, there is no word on the pricing of Moto G6 Plus. But considering the fact that Moto G6 Play is priced at Rs 11,999, and Moto G6 starts at Rs 13,999, the Plus variant could be priced closer to Rs 20,000 price point.
