While we await the launch of the Moto G6 series in India, and interesting new device from Motorola has been spotted online. There seems to be a brand new device in the pipeline with a completely new design, and it is allegedly called ‘Motorola One Power’.
The folks at AndroidHeadlines have shared a render showing what this Motorola One Power smartphone looks like. The first thing you notice is that this device doesn’t look like any of the recently launched Moto smartphones. The highlight is clearly the full-screen display dominating the front side, with an Apple iPhone X-like notch at the top. While other Android OEMs have lately adopted the notch design language, this would be the first time for the Lenovo-owned company.
The screen is surrounded by thin bezels, with a particularly generous bezel at the bottom. The back is quite plain with just the vertically-stacked dual-camera setup at the top-left corner, and the Moto logo that, no doubt, doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.
Another interesting thing to note on the smartphone is the branding. Instead of the Moto branding, there is the full Motorola name written below the screen. This seems to be a new strategy that is being used since the global launch of the Moto G6. At the back, there is the iconic Batwing logo and the Android One label towards the bottom. This would make the Motorola One Power the second smartphone after last year’s Moto X4 to be a part of Google’s Android One program.

Currently, not much is known about the Motorola One Power smartphone, except what is seen in the render. There is no word either on when we could see it launched. In the meanwhile, Motorola is gearing for a launch event in India on June 4, where it will be launching the Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play.
