MTV and Swipe telecom join hands and launch the MTV Volt for Rs 12,999

MTV and Swipe Telecom have joined hands to launch their first Phablet – the MTV Volt for Rs 12,999. It will be the first Phablet device to have an in-built TV player and live access to MTV.The key features of the device are a 6-inch FWVGA capacitive display, Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean); Flash 11.1 support, 4 GB internal storage with 32 GB expandable memory through T- Flash Card, a dual-core processor, 512 MB of DDR III RAM, dual-SIM 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, FM, GPS with built-in voice-based navigation, Accelerometer, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 3200 mAh battery.

It is a lightweight device at 239 grams and is available in white with velvet finish. The device comes with in-built apps that allow you to get fast access to Facebook, LinkedIn and allows you to download videos too.

The device will be available in over 10,000 retail points across the country, on Swipe’s e-store and on a number of online portals.

    Features of d phone aren’t gr8. Only screen size of the phone is something to boast about otherwise the resolution is preety bad and even RAM is quite low. Canvas 2 is better as it costs only 12000 and the processor and RAM of it suits the screen size (5”)

    No other device in the market has such features Can’t believe Swipe MTV Voltz consists of an additional feature which is the Exclusive TV-Player to access MTV contents. Isn’t that exciting?
